Surf & Turf Steak w/Lobster, shrimp & potatoes
Ingredients:
For the steak:
2 steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
For the creamy shrimp topping:
½ lb shrimp, peeled and cleaned
1 tablespoon butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan
½ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, for garnish
For the lobster tail:
1–2 lobster tails
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 garlic clove, minced
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Fresh parsley
For the sides:
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
1 bunch asparagus
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions
Toss baby potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Roast at 400°F for 30–35 minutes until golden and crisp.
Brush the lobster tail with melted butter, garlic, paprika, lemon juice, and parsley. Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes until tender and bright.
Season the steaks, then sear in a hot skillet with olive oil and butter for 3–5 minutes per side. Let them rest before slicing for a juicy steak dinner.
Cook shrimp in butter and garlic until pink. Stir in cream, Parmesan, Cajun seasoning, and pepper, then simmer until thick and creamy.
Roast or sauté asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper until tender. Plate the steak with creamy shrimp sauce, lobster tail, asparagus, crispy potatoes, and lemon wedges
