Ingredients

3–3½ lb chicken wings or boneless thighs (cut bite-size)

1½ tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1½ tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp kosher salt

½ tsp cayenne (optional)

2 tbsp oil (olive or vegetable)

Honey Teriyaki Sauce

1 cup teriyaki sauce

½ cup honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp grated ginger (optional)

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)

Method

Season chicken with all dry seasonings + oil.

Bake or grill:

Oven: 400°F for 35–40 min (flip once)

Grill: Medium-high, char nicely, cook through

Make sauce:

Simmer all sauce ingredients (except slurry) 5–7 min

Stir in slurry, cook until thick and glossy

Glaze chicken heavily and return to oven/grill 5–8 min to caramelize.

🔥 Tip: Broil last 2 minutes for that sticky finish.

🍚 Butter Rice

Ingredients

2 cups long-grain rice

4 cups chicken broth

4 tbsp unsalted butter

½ tsp salt

½ tsp white pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

Method

Rinse rice.

Bring broth + butter + seasoning to boil.

Add rice, cover, simmer 18–20 min.

Fluff and finish with 1 extra tbsp butter if catering.
