Chocolate Chip Cookies
• ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, softened
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons white sugar
• 1 egg yolk

Instructions
1 Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2 In a bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.
3 Mix in the egg yolk and vanilla extract.
4 Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
5 Fold in the chocolate chips.
6 Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and place them on a lined baking sheet.
7 Bake for 15 minutes , until the edges are lightly golden and the centers still look slightly soft.
8 Let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a rack.
