Homemade Maraschino Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

🍒Perfect color combination for Valentines Day’s 🫶🏻

Here’s the recipe for these…(makes 18-20 cookies)

•3 cups all purpose flour

•1 cup granulated sugar

•1 cup light brown sugar

•1 tsp baking soda

•2 eggs

•1 cup softened unsalted butter

•1 tsp salt

•1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

•1 tsp almond extract

•pink food gel (I mixed white & red to the color of my liking)

•1 jar maraschino cherries (drained/chopped)

•12 oz bag semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix everything BUT the cherries and chocolate chips into a stand mixer using paddle attachment.

Once dough forms fold in drained/chopped stemless cherries and chocolate chips.

Roll into balls and place on parchment lined baking sheets and bake 11-13 mins (depending on your oven/environment

Cool on wire rack and enjoy ☺️
