Hey fellow shinobi! I remember the sheer frustration when I first jumped into Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It felt like every single enemy, from the lowliest grunt to the most imposing boss, was designed to make me question my life choices. If you've ever wondered "WHY ARE THESE MONS SO STRONG?!", you're definitely not alone. But trust me, with a few key strategies and a deeper understanding of the game's mechanics, you can absolutely turn the tide. My journey through places like the Hirata Estate was initially a series of brutal defeats. However, I gradually learned that Sekiro isn't just about mashing buttons; it's a rhythmic dance of deflection, attack, and counter. The most crucial thing I picked up was the importance of the posture system. Forget traditional health bars for a moment – breaking an enemy's posture is your fast track to a deathblow. Practice deflecting, not just blocking. That satisfying 'clink' sound means you're building up their posture meter while preserving your own. Paying attention to enemy attack patterns and listening for their tells, sometimes even through Eavesdrop dialogues from NPCs, can give you a huge edge. Let's talk about enhancing your capabilities. Don't underestimate the power of acquiring new Skills and thoughtfully assigning Combat Arts. I found that Ichimonji: Double, for example, is fantastic for posture damage and recovering your own posture. Experiment with different Combat Arts to see what fits your playstyle and the enemy you're facing. Remember, many of these powerful moves and even using your Prosthetic Tools will consume Spirit Emblems, so manage that cost wisely! Speaking of Prosthetic Tools, they're not just for show. The Loaded Axe, for instance, can be incredibly effective for 'Armor Stripping' those heavily armored foes, leaving them vulnerable to direct damage. Beyond combat, don't forget to focus on strengthening Wolf himself. Regularly upgrading your Vitality and Attack Power is paramount. Every increase makes a noticeable difference in your survivability and damage output. Keep an eye on your Inventory for items like Healing Gourds, which are your lifelines in intense battles. Also, while it can be disheartening, don't let death deter you. Learn from each defeat. Sometimes, even when you feel like you've lost everything, Unseen Aid might just save a chunk of your sen and skill experience. Sekiro is a tough game, but every victory feels incredibly earned. Keep pushing, keep learning, and soon you'll be the one making those 'mons' tremble!
