Take Your Medicine

Good morning, y’all!

It’s that time again! Let’s get ready to take our daily dose of medication as prescribed to us by our doctors!

Last time I posted one of these, I shared that I no longer feel as though my medication is the right combination for me. Even just 5 years ago, this would have sent me into a spiral that caused me to stop taking my medicine altogether. Yesterday I sat down with my NP, went over what has been going on, and she decided to increase my antipsychotic. I’m starting my new dose today!! Fingers crossed that it does what we’re hoping it will!

If you feel as though something is not right with your medications, please bring it up with a member of your care team ASAP. You are worthy, you deserve to feel happy and whole.

So, whether you take them to manage a mental disorder, a physical ailment, or whether you just take supplements- take your meds with me! 🫶🏼 and have a great day!
