Wellness Habits

🧘 Habit 1: Get a good night sleep, otherwise it imbalances your hormones (hormones are chemicals produced by different glands across your body. They travel through the bloodstream, acting as messengers and playing a part in many bodily processes) particularly dopamine and impacts your mood as well as your physical health.

🧘 How It Helps Me: getting at least 8 hours of sleep helps me restore that balance of hormones in my body and, thus feel better.

🧘 Habit 2: Managing stress. Living with regular stress can cause drop in dopamine and serotonin production (Some happy hormones). It negatively affects your mood and health making it harder to deal with stress.

🧘 How It Helps Me: to take a 15 minute walk, social interaction, meditate or take a break from the source of stress, because these approaches/activities help relieve stress and boost my levels of serotonin, dopamine and even endorphins.

🧘 Habit 3: giving your furry friend some affection is a great way to boost oxytocin level for you and your dog/cat. Even if you don’t have one sometimes seeing one maybe a friend’s pet you like or know.

🧘 How It Helps Me: by experiencing an oxytocin boost and not only does it make me happy, 📍 City/Country, but it also boosts my furry friends happy hormones as well!
