Cauliflower with potatoes and curry

Version française plus bas.

This week I am sharing with you a simple sidedish to make with cauliflower and potatoes.

Serves: 3 to 4

You will need the following ingredients:

- 2 medium potatoes

- 1 tsp ground cumin

- 1/2 tsp coriander

- 1/4 tsp turmeric

- 1/4 tsp chili powder

- 3 tbsp peanut oil

- 1/4 tsp curry powder

- 1 tsp cumin seeds

- 1 head of cauliflower

- 1/2 cup (125 ml) water plus the water for cooking the potatoes

- Salt

Steps:

- Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil.

- Add the potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.

- Drain the water and let cool before dicing the potatoes. - In a bowl, combine the ground cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, and salt, then set aside.

- In a skillet, heat the oil.

- When the oil is hot, add the curry powder, then the cumin seeds.

- When it begins to sizzle, add the cauliflower and potatoes and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, until golden.

- Add the spice mix and water, then stir.

- Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, until the cauliflower is cooked through.

- Add the salt and stir.

- Enjoy and subscribe.

Cette semaine je vous partage un accompagnement simple a faire avec du chou-fleur et des patates.

Portions: 3 à 4 portions

Vous aurez des ingrédients suivant:

- 2 patates moyenne

- 1 c. à thé de cumin en poudre

- 1/2 c. à thé de coriandre

- 1/4 c. à thé de curcuma

- 1/4 c. à thé de chili

- 3 c. à soupe d'huile d'arachide

- 1/4 c. à thé de cari

- 1 c. à thé de graines de cumin

- 1 chou-fleur

- 1/2 tasse (125 ml) d'eau + l'eau pour faire cuir les patates.

- Sel

Étapes:

- Remplir un chaudron d'eau et porter à ébullition.

- Mettre les patates et les cuire environ 10 minutes.

- Drainer l'eau et laisser refroidir avant de couper les patates en dés.

- Dans un bol mélanger le cumin en poudre, la coriandre, le curcuma, le chili et le sel, puis mettre de côté.

- Dans une poêle, faire chauffer l'huile.

- Lorsque l'huile est chaude, ajouter le cari, puis les graines de cumin.

- Lorsque ça commencer à grésiller, ajouter le chou-fleur et les patates et cuire 6 à 8 minutes, pour les dorer.

- Ajouter le mélange d'épices et l'eau, puis mélanger.

- Cuire à feu moyen 5 à 7 minutes.

- Ajouter le sel et mélanger.

- Savourez et abonnez-vous.
