Sourdough Discard Tortillas

I’m finally seeing the product of my dedication to sourdough. Lots of love and flour! Here’s a discard recipe that I enjoyed —

Ingredients:

1 cup starter

1/2 cup olive oil

2/3 cup water (warm)

3 1/3 cup flour

1 tsp salt

Mix together starter, oil, and water in a large mixing bowl. After combining, add in flour and salt. Mix until formed. I kneaded the shaggy dough together to form a ball. Perform a set of stretch and folds. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes covered with a tea towel.

After resting, cut the dough into small pieces. Roll out dough until they’re thin and round.

Heat pan over medium heat. Cook tortillas for 2-3 minutes on each side!
