I’m in Menopause at 25
I just started Week 2 of 4 of being in Medical Menopause to help my endometriosis, and here’s my experience!
I’ve definitely been feeling some of the symptoms of menopause:
*Hot and Cold Flashes
*Hormone Headaches
*Mood Changes
*Nausea
However, all of these symptoms have been manageable and it hasn’t bothered me too much. The only one that bothers me is the fact that I can feel my hormone fluctuate, so I get a weird feeling in my body. Think of when you drink too much caffeine, mixed with the feeling of low blood sugar. It’s like I can feel everything in my body 😅
I wanted to try this for my endometriosis pain and symptoms, like the pain I feel in my bladder, bowels, under my ribs, in my shoulder, and in my ovaries. I’m still getting bloating, indigestion, pain in my lower back, a gurgling feeling and sound under my ribs when I breathe, and feeling full quickly.
I messaged my doctor and she wants me to continue taking the medication for a few more weeks and see how I am still feeling. This was to see how I can handle the symptoms of menopause and how it helps my pain because when I do have my next surgery (and it hasn’t been a year yet, so hence the reason for the Orilissa), she wants to take my ovaries since I have 2 cysts on my ovaries that won’t go away.
Anyone else try this medicine? How was your experience?

Experiencing menopause at a young age can be emotionally and physically challenging, often leading to feelings of isolation. Many women have reported symptoms like hot flashes, hormone-based headaches, and mood swings, similar to what I'm experiencing. It's essential to be proactive in discussing symptoms with your healthcare provider to find effective treatments, such as hormonal therapies like Orilissa. Understanding the potential side effects and benefits can empower you to manage your health better. Community support through online forums can also provide a sense of belonging and shared expertise. Moreover, incorporating lifestyle adjustments like dietary changes and physical activity can help alleviate some discomfort. Remember, you are not alone on this journey, and sharing experiences can foster hope and resilience.
