What is maturity ah? Once you back in the crowd, you naturally become more mature lor. To be mature, must control your mouth lah — cos you need to take responsibility, keep things to yourself, sometimes even forget some things yourself one.

Control your desires, cut down unnecessary socialising. Don’t overestimate human nature, cos sometimes some things cannot talk about, cannot study, cannot test lor.

Learn to be alone, learn to forget, learn to heal yourself, learn to chew and swallow the unfairness lah. Life got ups and downs one, so when rise also stay calm, when fall also stay open and honest lor.

... Read moreFrom my experiences, maturity often sneaks up on you when you least expect it — usually when you're thrust into new social environments or faced with challenging situations. One crucial aspect I've discovered is learning to take responsibility for your actions and especially your words. Speaking less but meaningfully helps avoid unnecessary misunderstandings and conflicts. Controlling desires can be tough, but it’s essential for personal growth. I found that reducing unnecessary social activities frees up mental space for self-reflection and healing. There were times I realized that not everyone or everything can or should be understood or confronted — some lessons come through acceptance rather than confrontation. Learning to be alone is another significant milestone. Solitude allows you to reconnect with yourself, process emotions, and build inner strength. I experienced moments where loneliness transformed into clarity and resilience. Life's ups and downs are inevitable, but staying calm when things go well, and open and honest when facing difficulties, makes the journey more authentic and rewarding. Ultimately, maturity is less about perfection and more about continuous effort to adapt, forgive, and grow despite life's inherent unfairness. These insights have personally helped me navigate social and emotional complexities with greater ease.

How it’s like having a younger bf
I guess most girls want someone older as they are more mature. I always wanted to date someone older as well until I made my bf. Just some context, my bf is younger than me by 1 year. I’m working full time while he is still in NS. So… you can imagine how different our lives are and how big the

1️⃣ “Busy” is not a love language. Everyone here is busy — work, gym, side hustles, friends. But when someone wants to, they’ll find five minutes to text you, or an hour to see you. Don’t romanticise “he’s just tired.” Effort will always fit into a packed schedule. 2️⃣ If he’s serious, you’ll
