Why I’m not going to grad school

I’m currently in training to become a holistic health coach, and in six months I should be certified and able to take clients!! Holistic health is what helped me and I want to show others how beneficial it can be to your mind body a spirit 😌 🧘‍♀️ <3

... Read moreChoosing to forgo grad school was a significant decision, but training to become a holistic health coach has been incredibly fulfilling for me. Holistic health looks at the whole person — integrating mind, body, and spirit — rather than just treating symptoms. This comprehensive approach helped me tremendously in my own wellness journey, improving my mental clarity, emotional balance, and physical vitality. What I appreciate most about this path is its practical impact. Unlike traditional academic routes, coaching allows me to work directly with clients, guiding them in lifestyle changes, nutrition, stress management, and mindfulness practices. This hands-on role means I can witness transformations firsthand, which is highly rewarding. Additionally, the certification process offers flexibility and personal growth opportunities at a pace that suits me. It's empowering to learn about alternative healing techniques and incorporate them into client care plans tailored to individual needs. For anyone considering whether to pursue grad school or another career path, I recommend reflecting on what aligns with your passion and life goals. Holistic health coaching is much more than a job — it’s a way to foster wellness from within, which is essential in today's fast-paced world. If you’re interested, start exploring certification programs and immerse yourself in communities focused on health and wellness. The journey can be transformative for both you and those you support.
