i have a matcha latte everyday

I talk about the benefits of matcha regularly on here and it's because to me it's one of the simplest and most enjoyable things we can do that actually really helps our pcos symptoms!

Matcha reduces facial hair, is better for anxiety than caffeine, helps with hormone metabolism and estrogen levels, reduces testosterone, feeds the gut, helps with pcos acne etc etc, it's really great!

I drink an iced matcha every morning and here's how I started making it when I was first getting used to it to make it taste good:

You'll need:

A cup

Milk of choice (I usually use soy)

Matcha (my fav brand is linked)

Ice

Hot water

Something to whisk with (a bamboo whisk is great)

Use a small amount of matcha at first, I started with half a teaspoon. This helps get the flavor in a soft way so you start to like it.

Put your matcha into a bowl and pour an ounce of hot water over it. Whisk until all the clumps are out.

Fill up your cup almost to the top with milk and ice and pour your matcha water on top, then mix. This prevents it all from settling at the bottom.

You can add collagen or protein powder to the hot water if you want more protein and you can increase your amount with time! But seriously, I know it tastes like grass/dirt at first lol but you start to love it and it has helped me SO much over the years!!
