Morning routine for gut & hormones ✨

for better gut health & hormones 🤍 here’s WHY ↴

your morning is essential to your hormone & gut health! What we nourish our body with after a fast (overnight) has a big impact on our gut microbiome.

this routine has helped reduce anxiety, balance my hormones, & makes me feel productive af 🥹✨

waking up 2 hours before work & at the same time everyday = this gives you time to prioritize yourself & builds consistency

oral care = do this before drinking water! You want to detox your mouth first thing by tongue scraping, oil pulling, & then brushing your teeth (non toxic toothpaste pls)

hydrate with warm lemon water & real sea salt = warm drinks help get digestion going + lemon has vitamin c & a pinch real sea salt (I use Redmond sea salt) for electrolytes

walk for 15 minutes = boosts metabolism & helps get blood flowing! I also love jumping in place to help lymphatic drainage. Go outside for natural sunlight!

make a green juice = easy way to get prebiotic first thing in the morning which is key to gut health!

10 min meditation or affirmations = if I’m running short on time I do affirmations while I’m doing my skincare!

eat breakfast = I try to eat 30-60 minutes after waking up so my blood sugar doesn’t dip too low! I prioritize 30g of protein at breakfast (usually eat chicken sausage) then I take my supplements!

mat Pilates workout = I love The Pilates Class because the workouts are about 20-30 minutes long & give me the perfect energy boost! Doing something hard first thing in the morning like a workout first makes me feel confident going into the day!!

get ready = showering, skin care, & getting dressed before work helps me feel my best + boosts my productivity! I only use fragrance free shower care, skin care, & hair care products to avoid endocrine disruptors.

Note this is an ideal day for me! Do the best you can I know everyone’s schedule & life is different 🫶🏻
