By tracking my GLP-1 injections alongside protein and fiber intake, I found a consistent pattern: protein enhanced satiety and helped me avoid overeating. This conscious tracking removed the guesswork and helped maintain discipline without feeling deprived. Portion control became more natural as well. I noticed that I was comfortable eating from smaller plates without feeling hungry afterward. The medication seemed to recalibrate my internal cues for fullness so that I stopped only when genuinely satisfied rather than eating out of habit or emotion. Lastly, food waste decreased significantly. Because I tuned into my natural fullness signals, I rarely had leftovers or uneaten snacks piling up. This not only saved money but also reinforced mindful eating habits that contribute to sustainable weight loss. Sharing my GLP-1 journey has helped me appreciate the holistic impact it has on lifestyle, not just weight.
