new fave east side brunch find: Seng House 🌿🐾

this is our second visit here! outdoor seating, pet friendly, and actually shaded so me and Bailey weren’t dying in the sun. got the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and hashbrown, iced white on the side. no notes

breakfast’s only till 11am so try to swing by around 10.45 to 11 on a regular weekday. we’ve done their lunch menu before too and honestly that’s worth a trip on its own

psst there’s a public carpark right opposite, and you can reserve ahead if you don’t wanna chance it

... Read moreIf you’re like me and constantly on the lookout for brunch spots that not only serve great food but also welcome your furry friends, Seng House on the East Side is an absolute delight. On multiple visits, I appreciated how the outdoor seating area is thoughtfully shaded, which made brunch relaxing without worrying about the sun — a huge bonus when you’re accompanied by your dog like Bailey. The avocado toast with scrambled eggs and hashbrown quickly became my go-to order. It’s satisfying yet light enough to keep you energized for the rest of the day. Pairing it with an iced white coffee balances the meal perfectly, especially on warmer days. Also, pro tip: the breakfast menu wraps up at 11am, so try to get there between 10:45 and 11am on weekdays to enjoy the fresh offerings without rush. I’ve also sampled their lunch dishes during another visit and found them equally tempting, making Seng House worth a trip anytime. For convenience, there’s a public carpark just across the street, and you can reserve your parking space ahead, sparing you the hassle of hunting for a spot. What makes this place stand out is its true pet-friendly attitude — from water bowls to shaded spots — making it a rare gem for pet owners in the city. Whether you’re a local East Side resident or just exploring, Seng House brings a welcome blend of cozy ambiance, tasty food, and convenience that keeps me coming back.
