Day Eight: 75 Soft Challenge
Day Eight: 75 Soft Challenge
-75oz Water💧
I was busy Monday and Tuesday with appointments. I brought my 40z water but lost track of any other water I might’ve drank.
-7k Steps 🚶♀️
I couldn’t sit down really so I was on my feet for majority of the day. I had to walk all over the city to different destinations.
-Portion Control 🍔
I managed to cook some food for me and my grandmother before heading out. I didn’t eat anything until I got home later that day.
-Skincare 🥲
I’ve been using a different gentle cleanser morning and night. I consistently use spf and moisturizers. I want the motivation to have more of a routine.
-Reading 30 mins 📖
Started this book Monday and I couldn’t put it down. I do plan to go back and finish Hot Under His Collar. The main characters are in a separation period and I can’t handle it atm. LOL
The 75 Soft Challenge is a variation of the original 75 Hard challenge designed to encourage sustainable wellness habits through moderate daily goals. Key aspects include drinking 75 ounces of water, walking at least 7,000 steps, practicing portion control, developing a skincare routine, and dedicating time to reading. Staying hydrated is essential for overall health, impacting energy levels, skin quality, and cognitive function. Carrying and tracking water intake throughout the day helps maintain consistency, even during busy schedules. Achieving 7,000 steps daily supports cardiovascular health and weight management, and walking around the city or neighborhood offers natural opportunities to meet this goal. Portion control plays a critical role in proper nutrition by preventing overeating and promoting mindful eating practices. Cooking simple meals ahead of time, as in preparing food for oneself and family, can improve adherence to nutrition goals. A gentle skincare routine that includes cleansing, moisturizing, and consistent use of SPF protects against environmental damage and supports skin health, with motivation and routine key to long-term commitment. Reading daily for 30 minutes encourages mental wellness and relaxation, fostering knowledge and reducing stress. Integrating these habits provides a holistic approach to self-care that is achievable and adaptable. The hashtags #75soft, #75challenge, and #75days indicate a growing community of participants sharing experiences and motivating each other toward these wellness goals. Engaging with such communities can enhance accountability and offer valuable support throughout the challenge journey.

75 soft sounds way more doable than 75 hard. I might actually try this, but no promises.
