I made copycat Papa John’s cheese sticks at home!

Copycat Recipe – Papa John’s Cheese Sticks

Ingredients:

· Pizza dough (I used Great Value brand)

· Parmesan Cheese (optional)

· 8 oz bag of mozzarella cheese

· Butter

· Garlic Powder

· Italian Seasoning

· Sheet Pan

· Aluminum foil (optional)

· Non-stick cooking spray

· Marinara

1. Preheat the oven to 400 – 425 depending on which brand of pizza dough you pick.

2. Get a sheet pan and grease the pan with Pam or any other kind of nonstick spray. (Or you can use aluminum foil and spray the foil)

3. Lay out the pizza dough across the sheet pan and use a fork to poke holes everywhere in the dough.

4. Melt 3-4 spoons of butter then add Italian seasoning and garlic power in the mixture.

5. Cook the breadsticks in the oven for 5 minutes - (DO NOT ADD ANYTHING ON THE DOUGH YET! This is important!)

6. Pull out the dough and now add the melted butter over the top of the dough then add your cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic power. You can add Parmesan cheese as well this is optional.

7. Put back in the oven for 4 minutes. Then broil for 2 minutes.

8. Pull it out of the oven and if you have any left-over melted butter put it all over the cheese sticks and sides. Cut up to your liking then serve with a side of marinara. 😋
