You know when you start something your like hmmm i think I'm doing it right lol but I've been working out for 2 months now. I haven't really seen any difference body wise and i know it's in my diet but one things for sure I could hold a plank for 3mins, i could do a hike without dying, my pushups getting better and I'm feeling stronger.
My friend say maybe i'm in a plateau, so ok plateau it is we're gonna keep going .

Trying to maintain a healthy diet while following the 16:8 intermittent fasting method can be a real challenge, especially when you’re also trying to build strength and endurance through workouts. It’s great that you’re noticing improvements like holding a plank longer, better pushup performance, and increased stamina during hikes — these are true signs of progress even if the scale or mirror doesn't show it yet. A key part of success during fasting and workouts is balancing your meals with the right nutrients. Your meals like eggs, ground beef, steak, broccoli, and rice provide a good mix of protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs that fuel muscle recovery and sustained energy. Incorporating more vegetables like broccoli is smart because they add fiber and essential vitamins without extra calories, helping you feel full and nourished. Also, don’t underestimate the importance of hydration. Drinking plenty of water throughout your fasting window aids metabolism and supports overall bodily functions. Including fruits like kiwi can add natural sweetness alongside essential vitamins and antioxidants. If you’ve hit a plateau, consider mixing up your routine a bit—try new workout types or intensities, tweak your eating windows, or experiment with different nutrient timings within your eating phase. Remember, plateaus are common and often temporary; consistent effort paired with balanced nutrition will eventually deliver noticeable results. Stay positive and patient with yourself on this journey. Sharing your food choices and workouts openly helps keep you accountable and inspired. Looking forward to seeing your transformation updates come January 2026 — your future self will thank you for sticking with it!
