What they don’t tell you about pregnancy!

It is so common in our culture to have a negative or fearful view of pregnancy and birth!

People are so ready to feel miserable, be uncomfortable, have complications, and rely on a doctor for something so normal and natural!

I’m not saying there isn’t a time and place for medical care in pregnancy or that you should feel completely normal during pregnancy. But a lot of the fear and expecting things to be hard, sets you up for failure.

What if instead we cared about our bodies and our health for years leading up to pregnancy? We lived a life where we chose joy, non toxic products, nutrient dense foods, eating enough, and spending time outside.

When we become pregnant we are excited and trust our body to do what it knows how to do. We find a trusted person to walk with us through pregnancy, without fear. Someone who believes in birth and knows it is something your body can do on its own!

Pregnancy can be beautiful, fun, and exciting!

... Read morePregnancy is often portrayed negatively, leading many to fear discomfort and complications. However, understanding that pregnancy isn’t merely a medical event is crucial. Focusing on a healthy lifestyle prior to conception can significantly enhance the pregnancy experience. Embracing a nourishing diet, regular physical activity, and positive affirmations can reduce anxiety and promote overall wellbeing. Remember, you have the power to influence your pregnancy journey positively. Surround yourself with supportive communities and practitioners who respect natural birthing processes. By choosing joy and preparing both mentally and physically, you can enjoy your pregnancy, alleviating unnecessary worries. The right mindset transforms your perception of pregnancy into one of excitement and fulfillment, allowing you to relish this remarkable phase of life. As you engage with trusted individuals who believe in your body's capabilities, the experience can become empowering rather than frightening. Learning alternatives to common complications, engaging in prenatal education, and utilizing non-toxic products can all enhance comfort during pregnancy. In essence, the key to a positive pregnancy is knowledge, preparation, and a strong support system that champions your health and wellbeing.
