MY HIGHEST MILEAGE WEEK IN 6 MONTHS ❤️‍🔥

We are SO back, baby!

This was a BIG WEEK with SO many wins:

- I wore the freaking SHORTS

- First double workout day + a new barre class

- Ran my LONGEST run in more than a year (7k baby!!)

- Tried out pickleball and LOVED it

- Highest mileage week in 6 months!!!

We hit EVERY. SINGLE. WORKOUT and then some, and I’m feeling so good and SO strong.

We didn’t break any speed records this week, and my pace seems to be staying around the same, but the consistency is building and I know it will come with time.

Thank you for showing up for ME and cheering me on. I truly couldn’t do this without you!!

Now that I’ve tried barre and pickleball, what sport/class should I try next?? 👀

... Read moreAfter pushing through my highest mileage week in six months, I realized how important it is to mix up your fitness routine to stay motivated and engaged. Trying barre and pickleball not only challenged my body in new ways but also kept things fun and fresh. Barre helped build my core strength and improve flexibility, while pickleball gave me a welcomed boost in agility and social interaction. The detailed tracking of each workout, including my pace, heart rate, and total volume lifted, has been crucial to understanding my progress and avoiding burnout. For instance, keeping tabs on my running times and average pace has shown me that even if speed isn’t improving dramatically yet, consistency lays the foundation for future gains. If you’re thinking about switching up your workouts, consider activities that balance cardio, strength, and flexibility to optimize your overall fitness. Also, listening to your body—like giving your legs a break with an upper body workout when needed—can help prevent injury and keep you feeling strong for every session. I love sharing my progress and challenges because it holds me accountable and connects me to others on a similar journey. So if you’re looking for ideas, I’d recommend trying a new sport or class that excites you. Next on my list might be yoga or swimming to complement my running and barre workouts. Remember, the key is consistency and enjoying the process, not just chasing speed or distance. Celebrate small wins like showing up daily, discovering new activities, and hitting personal mileage milestones. Let’s keep this fitness journey energized and fun together!
