Golden Gluten-Free Chicken Strips(3 Ways to Cook)
These crispy gluten-free chicken tenders are a total game-changer! Crunchy, juicy, flavorful, and totally family-approved. Whether you air fry, bake, or pan-fry, they come out so good every time.
Ingredients
• 2 lbs chicken tenderloins
• 3 cups King Arthur Gluten-Free Measure for Measure Flour
• 2 eggs
• 1½ cups milk
• 1 tbsp onion powder
• 1 tbsp Kinder’s Truffle Salt Blend (or your fave seasoned salt)
Optional: garlic powder, paprika, black pepper
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep your dredge station:
Bowl 1: Whisk eggs + milk. Blend in onion powder, truffle salts and any other seasonings.
Plate or Bowl 2: Mix flour, onion powder, truffle salt, and optional seasonings.
2 ️⃣ Coat the chicken:
Dip each tenderloin into the egg mixture, then coat in flour mix. For extra crispiness, double dip: egg ➡️ flour ➡️ egg ➡️ flour again.
3️⃣ Air Fryer:
Preheat to 400°F
Lightly spray basket and chicken with oil
Air fry 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway
4️⃣ Oven:
Preheat to 425°F
Place tenders on a wire rack over a baking sheet
Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway
5️⃣ Stovetop Frying:
Heat ½ inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat
Fry chicken 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden and fully cooked
Transfer to paper towel-lined plate
