Welcome into my ADHD world
Welcome to my world where I share my journey with being an undiagnosed woman with ADHD I was actually diagnosed as a child with depression and anxiety and also with a learning disability I don’t know how doctors and also my mother did not see that I had a neurological disorder going on, but as for my brothers, it was very clear to them and that’s where I come in and I explain why it is different from having ADHD and women versus boys.
Come along and let’s educate each other because I am still learning. Let’s go through this together.

ADHD, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, often presents differently in women than in men. Many women go undiagnosed due to societal expectations and misconceptions about how ADHD manifests. Symptoms can include emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and organization problems. Women may internalize their struggles, leading to secondary issues like depression. Understanding physical signs of stress, such as headaches or fatigue, is crucial in navigating ADHD. Seeking support through online communities or professional counseling can provide valuable coping strategies and insights. Furthermore, ADHD awareness is essential in destigmatizing the disorder and fostering a more inclusive environment for those affected. By sharing our experiences and educating ourselves and others, we can help create a better understanding of ADHD and its impact.
