Day 2 of 90 days 🥳

So since today marks day 2 of my 90 day mid, thought I’d post this.

The last couple times I’ve tried to start this, I’ve been so harsh on myself and sometimes you don’t really notice that but scrolling thru my camera roll, messages, journal etc I’m like 😬… that’s not very conducive.

And when I reflect on opportunities I’ve let pass by or jumps I’ve been too scared to take due to fear of being seen I’m just like dang jazz! But not in 2026 🥳 all in in every aspect and opportunity that comes my way whether that’s speaking, modeling , my normal gigs, etc etc !

So starting again, this time from a different lens hoping we all are gentler w ourselves 🫶🏼☺️

From personal experience, the biggest hurdle is often not the physical change but the mental shift that needs to happen. Previously, I was very harsh on myself. Scrolling through old photos, messages, and journals, I realized how much self-criticism impacted my motivation. Calling myself "chunky" or feeling unattractive only built up fear and hesitation, causing me to miss out on opportunities to grow—whether that was speaking engagements, modeling gigs, or other personal goals. This kind of self-deprecation creates a negative feedback loop that saps energy and willpower. This time, I’m approaching my 90-day challenge with gentleness and self-compassion. It’s okay to have fears and imperfections; growth doesn’t require beating yourself down. Instead, I’m learning to celebrate small wins and stay open to every opportunity that comes my way without letting fear hold me back. I encourage anyone starting their own journey to do the same. Take time to reflect on what your internal dialogue sounds like. Is it supportive or critical? Changing that inner voice can dramatically affect your persistence and happiness. Moreover, tracking your progress through photos, journaling, or even reviewing past texts can provide valuable insight into your mindset changes over time. Acknowledging past fears and recognizing your growth fosters resilience. Remember, weight loss isn’t just about shedding pounds but about reclaiming confidence and saying yes to life’s possibilities. Being kind to yourself is not a weakness but a powerful tool to sustain lasting change. So here’s to all of us being gentler with ourselves while chasing our dreams and health goals!
