A balanced combination of a bagel with 22 grams of protein, two small eggs providing 6 grams, and cheese slices adding another 6 grams each creates a substantial protein-rich meal that serves as both breakfast and lunch. This approach works well to meet daily protein needs without overwhelming the reduced stomach capacity. In addition to focusing on protein quantity, I pay attention to the quality of the protein and how my body reacts. For instance, opting for cheese like Castelllo Havarti, as suggested by the OCR image content, helps diversify the protein sources and keep meals interesting. I also ensure to stay hydrated and eat slowly, which helps digestion and absorption. Sharing these tips and meal ideas aims to help others on their gastric sleeve journey maintain adequate protein intake despite changes in food tolerances.
