Also day two, but with more progress

This is weird….@Lemon8 US Are you guys just making up things as you go? How does me speaking about my spiritual journey with God, breaks community guidelines. I am not encouraging anyone to join me. I didn’t tell anyone to starve themselves nor did I address people with—— Can’t speak on that because it’s a sensitive topic and I do not want to trigger anyone. I didn’t curse or bully anyone. That post was about me speaking on my journey….this doesn’t feel welcoming at all. This is the second time something with lemon8 has happen. The first time was because you guys claimed nudity because I have large bosoms…like I can control that….

Update; 9:28pm: I won the appeal 😀😀

... Read moreWow, hearing stories like this really hits home for content creators! It's so frustrating when you pour your heart into sharing a personal journey, especially something as meaningful as a spiritual fast involving prayer and reading the Quran, only to have it flagged for a 'Community Guidelines violation.' I've seen so many creators struggle with similar issues, where their posts are removed for unclear reasons, often because of a misunderstanding of context or an automated system error. It makes you wonder if these platforms truly understand the diverse content their users share. When my friend had a post about her personal spiritual journey removed, she felt completely deflated. It was titled something like 'Day 1 of 3 Day F' and was simply documenting her experience. The notification stating 'post was removed for violating community guidelines' can be really disheartening. What's even more baffling is when it feels like a double standard – like the user mentioned a previous incident about body image being flagged. It truly makes you question the consistency of moderation. But here's the thing: never give up! The appeal process, while sometimes tedious, is there for a reason. Learning that the appeal was won is such a triumph! It shows that sometimes, persistence pays off, and getting a real person to review your situation can make all the difference. When faced with a 'Community Guidelines violation,' documenting everything, from the original post's content to the removal notification, is crucial. Providing a clear, calm explanation of why your post doesn't violate the rules, and highlighting your intent, can significantly increase your chances of getting your content restored. It's a tricky balance, right? We want platforms to be safe spaces, but we also want the freedom to express our authentic selves and share our life experiences, whether it's a spiritual journey, a fitness goal, or simply everyday thoughts. For those of us who share deeply personal or spiritual content, it's essential to understand the nuances of each platform's community guidelines, even when they seem vague or inconsistently applied. Sometimes, a simple keyword like 'fast' can trigger automated flags, even when used in a spiritual context. My advice to anyone facing a similar situation? First, take a deep breath. Second, review the specific guideline they cited. Third, craft a polite but firm appeal. Explain your perspective, clarify any potential misunderstandings, and if possible, refer to other content on the platform that is similar but hasn't been flagged. It's a powerful feeling when you get that 'post has been restored' notification. It's not just about getting your content back; it's about validating your voice and your right to share your story. Keep sharing your light, even when it feels like the system is working against you!
