A picture I took after one of my OB appointments, up on the hospital rooftop. 🥹 (when I first come to USA)
At that time, I remember thinking, “It would be so nice to work in a hospital someday.” I thought I would feel so proud… but honestly, it also felt impossible. Like, there’s no way. It wouldn’t be easy.
Then that impossible thought slowly became, “Okay… maybe I’ll try.”
Then, “Okay, this is my dream now.”
And little by little, I kept going.
And here I am, 7 years later ….. a Registered Nurse. 🥹🩺❤️
Dreams really do come true. Sometimes they start as nothing more than a little thought that feels completely impossible.
Until one day… you’re living it. ❤️

Read moreStarting with a simple moment on a hospital rooftop during an OB appointment, the idea of working in a hospital can seem distant and overwhelming, especially when moving to a new country like the USA. Overcoming the challenges of adjusting to a new environment while pursuing a demanding career in healthcare requires patience, resilience, and a deep commitment to personal growth.
In my own experience, countless obstacles arose, from mastering complex medical concepts to balancing study and life responsibilities. The thought that initially seemed impossible—"working in a hospital someday"—gradually transformed as I set small achievable goals and sought support from mentors and peers.
One vital lesson I learned was the power of incremental progress and celebrating small victories along the way. Each step, whether passing exams or completing clinical hours, built confidence and brought the dream closer to reality. Embracing moments of doubt as natural parts of the journey helped me stay motivated.
Moreover, working toward becoming a Registered Nurse not only provided a meaningful career path but also opened opportunities to give back to my community and connect deeply with patients. These experiences reinforced why the initial impossible thought was worth every effort.
For anyone facing similar feelings of doubt or challenges, remember that significant accomplishments often start from a single 'impossible' idea. Cultivating patience, seeking guidance, and firmly believing in your goals can ultimately lead to living those dreams—just like arriving at a hospital rooftop to affirm a growing passion, and years later wearing the nurse's badge with pride.
