Why can't the body lack protein?
Protein is not just for muscle players, it penetrates almost every part of the body:
• Repair the worn parts: Our bodies are constantly defoliating. Proteins help repair broken cells and build new cells, muscles, skin and hair.
• Immunization: The "antibody" that helps fight pathogens is a type of protein. If the protein is low, immunity is often weak.
• Maintain hormone and enzyme balance: Digestive or metabolic processes in the body all require protein-based enzymes.
• Provide energy reserves: Although the body likes to use flour and fat as its primary energy, if those energy stores run out, protein is the last bastion to be used.
