As an avid reader who loves diving into fresh releases, I recently added two highly anticipated books to my TBR pile: "And Now, Back to You" by B.K. Borison and "Just Friends," Haley Pham’s debut novel. Both titles have been generating buzz on book communities like #booktok, and for good reason. "And Now, Back to You" has caught my attention thanks to its charming premise where a weather boy meets the New York Times bestselling author of "First-Time Caller." Borison’s writing style is engaging, and the blend of humor with heartfelt moments made this story a delightful read for me. It’s perfect for readers who enjoy contemporary romance with a unique setup. On the other hand, Haley Pham’s "Just Friends" feels like a fresh take on romantic comedies. Being her debut, it’s impressive how well-developed the characters are and how realistic their dynamics feel. Fans of lighthearted, swoon-worthy romance novels will adore this book. It’s been praised by Lym Painter, a #1 New York Times bestselling author, which adds credibility and makes it an instant buy for me. Choosing which book to start with was tricky! Both books were released shortly apart—late February and early March—making them hot new releases in 2024.
