Eggs became my morning staple because they provide high-quality protein to kickstart metabolism and keep me full. Salmon paired with rice and broccolini formed my go-to meal as it gave me a balanced mix of omega-3s, complex carbs, and fiber. For a healthy dessert, frozen berries with yogurt satisfied my sweet tooth without compromising my goals. I also incorporated important supplements like marine collagen for joint health, magnesium for better sleep, and vitamin B complex and vitamin C to boost energy and immunity. One key insight was the importance of tracking everything. Using apps like Calzy helped me monitor my fat, carbs, and protein intake, as well as my exercise progress. This not only kept me accountable but also enabled me to make adjustments that truly worked for my body. Another eye-opener was focusing on strength training with heavy lifts instead of light dumbbells. The muscle growth came from pushing my limits safely and consistently, which shaped my body more effectively. Finally, magnesium before bed drastically improved my sleep quality, allowing better recovery and energy the next day. Overall, combining clean nutrition, proper supplementation, effective exercise, and careful tracking made the biggest difference in getting lean and feeling great.
