I was diagnosed with ITP - an autoimmune disease that turned my world upside down. I was inflamed, exhausted, and gained 40lbs from the medication.

my mom gifted me a mini trampoline. I had no idea it would change my life.

the weight, the inflammation, the energy, the mood - all of it shifted.

this is literally why I started Jump&Jacked. I needed something that worked with my body, not against it.

has movement ever changed your life? tell me below 👇

... Read moreLiving with ITP and dealing with the side effects of medication like weight gain and chronic inflammation can be overwhelming. Traditional workouts often felt too intense or exhausting for me, making it hard to stay consistent or see progress. That’s why the mini trampoline was such a revelation. Using a mini trampoline, or rebounder, is surprisingly gentle on the joints yet offers a cardiovascular workout that stimulates the lymphatic system. This helps reduce inflammation by improving circulation and detoxification. From personal experience, even 10 minutes a day on the rebounder boosted my mood and energy levels significantly. I found that starting slow and focusing on fun, rhythmic bouncing made exercise feel less like a chore and more like play. This psychological benefit helped me maintain a daily habit, which was critical in managing my symptoms over time. Additionally, working out at home on the trampoline eliminated barriers like gym commutes or crowded spaces, making fitness accessible during flares or low energy days. If you’re dealing with any chronic illness involving inflammation or fatigue, consider low-impact exercises like rebounding. It worked for me by aligning with my body’s needs, supporting healing, and reclaiming a sense of control. Movement truly changed my life – and it can change yours too. I don’t really know how to manage my symptoms, or how to tell when I need to rest versus when I can keep pushing myself. Also, I have a hard time telling if I’m in a flare up, because I ALWAYS feel like I am. What should I do? #potssyndrome #dysautonomia #disabled #chronicillnesslife

Things I thought were personality traits until I got diagnosed with ADHD
So many of us grow up thinking our struggles are “just our personality.” In reality, ADHD (and AuDHD) traits get mislabeled, misunderstood, or even punished, while we internalize shame. Getting the right diagnosis doesn’t erase those experiences, but it gives us a new lens: I wasn’t broken. My bra
