Hoshimoto's Autoimmune Disease and "Normal" Labs
Labs are important.
But they don’t always capture inflammation, immune activity, or how someone actually feels day to day.
You can have numbers in range and still struggle.
You can look okay and still feel worn down.
And none of that makes you dramatic or difficult.
If you’ve ever left an appointment more confused than when you walked in, this post is for you.

Here’s my mega list of questions…. I have 2 nodules on my thyroid. My labs are at the very low end of “normal” and I have full of inflammation and no dr can figure out why. I just got a positive on 1 ANA test, a strong positive on another. But because there isn’t more I’ve been brushed off. The only drs who are trying to help me is my PCP & pain mgmt. I do have chronic back&neck pain. Chronic migraines from a pinched nerve in my neck. I am just looking for suggestions or advice. I know no one is an internet Dr. ☺️
