FARMER’S MARKET VLOG 🤌

One of my favorite things on the planet? Farmer’s Markets!!!

I can remember when my mom would take me to these markets when I was a kid and I absolutely hated it. It was too hot, I was bored, and the majority of the stuff was not for kids. That was until I went to my first market at age 20 and I then understood why my mom liked going so much. Supporting local businesses and artisans while discovering what your town has to offer is a great experience. Today, it’s one of our favorite things to do together. We will plan entire weekends and trips around going to one 4-hour market.

This weekend’s market was so much fun. I was mostly interested in the local bakers and treats while my mom was searching for canned goods, jellies, and jams. In the end, we both found what we were looking for and more. I cannot wait until the next one.

What are y’all’s usual go-to places at farmer’s markets? What do y’all always end up getting?

When visiting a farmer's market, you can often find everything from fresh produce to handcrafted items by local artisans. One delightful aspect is the chance to meet the producers, learn about their practices, and support the local economy directly. Many markets also feature live music and art displays, making it a feast for the senses. If you're a fan of homemade treats, be sure to stop by local bakers showcasing their finest cookies and pastries! Visiting a farmer's market is a perfect weekend activity for families and groups of friends, as it encourages connection and exploration. Remember to check market schedules online, as many have seasonal themes, such as harvest festivals or holiday markets, adding excitement with new vendors and experiences. Engaging with your community while enjoying local artisan goods creates lasting memories and a deeper appreciation for what your area has to offer. So don’t forget to bring your shopping bags and your sense of adventure next time you head to the market!
