Read more私も最初は「小松菜の水耕栽培、なんで育たないの?」と悩みがちでした。種から始める場合、最初のつまずきポイントはだいたい同じなので、私が意識しているコツをまとめます。 1) 種は“水に沈めない”のが基本 「小松菜の種を水につける?」と迷いますが、ずっと水に浸すと酸素不足で失敗しやすい印象でした。おすすめは、濡らしたスポンジ(白いスポンジでもOK)やティッシュに種を置いて、常に“しっとり”を保つ方法。水がヒタヒタになりすぎないようにして、発芽まで乾かさないのが大事です。 2) スポンジ発芽のコツ(小松菜 水耕栽培 スポンジ) スポンジに切れ込みを入れて種を挟むと、根がまっすぐ下に伸びやすくて管理がラクでした。発芽直後は特にカビが怖いので、容器や瓶はサッと洗って清潔に。水は毎日〜2日に1回交換するとニオイも出にくいです。 3) 「育たない」原因は光・温度・水位のどれかが多い ・光:双葉が出たらできるだけ明るい場所へ。光が弱いとひょろひょろになりがちです。 ・温度:発芽は暖かい方が安定。寒い時期は窓辺の冷え込みに注意しました。 ・水位:根の先だけが水に触れるくらいが目安。スポンジ全体が水没すると酸欠になりやすいです。 4) 肥料は“本葉が出てから”が安心 双葉の間は水だけでも進みますが、本葉が1〜2枚出てきたら薄めの液体肥料を少しずつ。いきなり濃い肥料にすると根が傷むことがあるので、私は規定よりさらに薄めから試しています。 5) 土に移すタイミング(迷ったらこの目安) 「土にうつすタイミングがわからない」問題は、本葉が2〜3枚+根が瓶の中でしっかり伸びた頃がひとつの目安でした。移植するなら、土を湿らせてからスポンジごと植えると根を傷めにくいです。水耕のまま育てるなら、根のスペース確保のために容器を少し大きくするのもアリ。 6) 空き缶で水耕栽培する場合の注意 空き缶を使うなら、内側のサビや切り口に注意。私は透明な瓶だと水位と根の状態が見やすくて管理しやすかったです(遮光したい時は外側だけ紙を巻くと◎)。 同じ「小松菜 水耕栽培 種から」でも、発芽〜双葉の時期を丁寧に乗り切ると一気にラクになります。私も試行錯誤中なので、成長の変化(本葉の枚数、水替え頻度、置き場所)をメモしておくと次回の成功率が上がりました。
