I used to think I only needed 20-40 second rests in between exercises too. I thought that I if i wasn;t sweating like krraaaazzzyy then I wasn't pushing myself hard enough
❌ WRROONNGGG. So so wrong...
The HIIT world is teaching us to stress our bodies out AS IF WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STRESS IN LIFE. We don't need to make it worse in the gym
If you don't need a FULL 2 minute rest, then you weren't pushing yourself the right way.
When you focus on KONTROLLING your body rather than speeding through it, you're going to NEED that time AAAAAAAANNDD you'll get better results
The best part is that you won't be in the gym for HOURS. Because who really has time for that?
