Haters are so boring. Niiiiiiine months with my chef 👨🍳 #hotchef #parisromance #ninemonths #beepboopbye
Navigating a relationship where one partner is a chef can be a fascinating experience, especially when you add an international move to the equation. After nine months together, living in Paris has not only been romantic but also a journey full of growth and adaptation. Moving from the U.S. to Paris meant embracing a new culture, language, and pace of life. As someone who's not in the culinary profession, living with a chef means you get to appreciate their intense work hours, creativity, and passion from a firsthand perspective. Watching the third Avatar movie together was one of those precious shared moments that helped us bond and recharge from our busy routines. Despite some doubters and haters along the way, maintaining a relationship with a chef requires patience and understanding. The constant balancing act between their demanding schedule and quality couple time can be challenging but rewarding. We’ve learned to cherish simple moments—like him stepping out of the shower or cooking us a late-night meal—as signs of our connection. Moving internationally to be with someone is a significant step, but it’s also a testament to the commitment and love we share. Our story shows that love can thrive despite obstacles, and sometimes, haters just don't understand the depth behind what they see on the surface.
