Oh my goodness, can you believe my little superhero just had their first day of Pre-K? It feels like just yesterday they were a tiny baby, and now they're off to preschool! We picked out the brightest yellow Bluey t-shirt – because who doesn't love Bluey? – and their favorite mismatched character shoes, which always bring a smile to their face. Seeing their braided hair bounce as they stood ready on the asphalt road, a huge grin spreading across their face, just melted my heart. Laying out that adorable outfit the night before made the morning less chaotic. The Drop-Off: This was the moment I was most nervous about. We walked hand-in-hand, chatting about all the fun things they'd do. At the door, we said a quick, loving goodbye, a big hug, and I reminded them I'd be back.
