Can We Say PROGRESS!! 👏🏽👏🏽

I have high fitness goals and it has been a journey!! Here’s what I learned, that got me REAL results…

1. Protein

Protein is your friend and since I’m semi-vegan, it doesn’t always have to be meat. There are really good protein powders (that are vegan) that you can include into your daily foods and drinks (smoothies, oatmeal, coffee, even pancakes)

2. Fiber

For me, protein powders and supplements do make you feel a little bulky and constipated, make sure you’re getting a good amount of fiber. If you’re not eating greens or fiber grains that day, sprinkle some fiber powder into your smoothie too.

3. Water

Yeah, it’s just as simple as that. Amazon has some cool water bottles to help you track your water intake.

4. Eat healthy meals

As much as you see some influencers say “I eat what I want and just work it off later”, this isn’t always true for everyone and sometimes it can be a snowball. Eating healthier also gives you that natural energy that lasts throughout the day

5. Go heavier

Unless you’re doing ab workouts, it’s not so much the amount of reps you’re doing but the weight you’re adding. I love the cable machines at the gym, so for the first set I will use 20, and for the second set I will use 25 or push myself to lift 30.

6. Rest

After you’ve pushed your body…take a break. I know sometimes we feel guilty for missing a day, but the rest gives your body a chance to build and regenerate muscle.
