From practical experiences and supported by anecdotal accounts, including replies to fitness comments, a regimen involving five days of workouts with a combination of light weights and stair master cardio has led to significant weight reductions—such as losing 80 pounds in three months. However, the optimal strategy is to lift heavy weights because this builds and preserves lean muscle mass, boosting metabolism over time, even during periods of calorie deficit.
