Update to skincare routine.

I started takin tretinoin this month and ive already seen such a huge difference with my hyperpigmentation. My estrogen levels are finally coming down with the help of vitamin D and Iron.

I love pairing it with Anua skincare line because it definitely dries out your skin.

Im using Tretinoin X3 a week because I dont want my skin to purge as a beginner 🥰😊.

Do you use ANUA KOREAN Products in your skin routine?? From someone who has extremely sensitive skin id say its a 10/10 for me.

Tretinoin, while amazing for tackling hyperpigmentation and boosting skin cell turnover, can be quite drying, especially when you're just starting out or if you have sensitive skin like mine. That's where a gentle, hydrating skincare line like Anua truly shines. My 'AT NIGHT ROUTINE' is built around soothing and protecting my skin. I always start with a gentle cleanse. The Anua Heartleaf Pore Deep Cleansing Foam (yes, the green tube everyone asks about!) has been a lifesaver. It’s effective but doesn't strip my skin, unlike some other cleansers. I've also tried their cleansing oil, which is fantastic for breaking down makeup and sunscreen without irritation. After cleansing, the Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner is a must-have for an extra layer of hydration and to calm any redness – it's truly soothing! For moisturizing, I love their Intensive Moisturizing Milk. It's rich enough to combat Tretinoin dryness but still feels lightweight. When it comes to the 'topical cream' itself, my Tretinoin, I apply a pea-sized amount to dry skin after my toner, waiting a few minutes to ensure my skin is completely dry. This helps minimize irritation. I specifically use it 3 times a week, as mentioned, to avoid the dreaded 'Tretinoin purge' and give my skin time to adjust. A big tip to keep your skin hydrated is the 'sandwich method' – applying a thin layer of moisturizer before Tretinoin, and then another layer *after*. This creates a buffer, significantly reducing dryness and irritation. Many of you asked about 'tretinoin before and after pores' and 'tretinoin pores before and after pictures.' While I'm still early in my journey, I'm already noticing my skin texture becoming smoother, and yes, my pores look less prominent. Tretinoin works by accelerating cell turnover, which helps to clear out congested pores over time. Consistency is key here! Regarding ingredients, some Anua products, like their Heartleaf + BHA Cleansing Foam, do contain BHA or salicylic acid. However, I personally stick to the gentler Heartleaf line when using Tretinoin to avoid over-exfoliation. It’s important to check product labels, especially if you have sensitive skin. Most Anua products are known to be 'non-comedogenic,' which is perfect for acne-prone or congested skin, ensuring they won't clog pores. For questions about 'age limit for use' or if Tretinoin is right for you, it's always best to consult a dermatologist, as it's a prescription medication. And of course, sun protection is non-negotiable when using Tretinoin! I always finish my morning routine with a high SPF sunscreen.
