Gaining weight and muscle has been so hard to figure out but once you do it’s UP FROM THERE!!
When I first started trying to gain weight and build muscle, it felt like an uphill battle with very little progress. But over time, I learned that consistency and the right approach made all the difference. For anyone struggling with weight gain, my biggest advice is to track your progress visually and with measurements. Seeing a month-to-month difference, especially in targeted areas like glutes, really helped motivate me. Nutrition plays a huge role—I made sure to increase my calorie intake with nutrient-dense foods while balancing macronutrients to support muscle growth. I found that prioritizing protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs gave me sustained energy for workouts and recovery. On the training side, I focused on progressive overload in the gym, gradually increasing weights, especially with glute-focused exercises like hip thrusts and squats, which contributed to noticeable 'glutegains.' Incorporating compound movements also helped with overall gym gains. Equally important was rest and recovery; I allowed my muscles time to repair, which accelerated my strength and size improvements. Sharing my journey on platforms like GymTok and using hashtags such as #weightgainjourney and #gymgains connected me with a community that kept me encouraged. For others on this path: be patient and consistent. Everyone’s body responds differently, but committing to steady progress and celebrating small wins can fundamentally transform your weight gain and muscle-building experience.
