It’s a little extra effort but worth every bite. Pairing tostones with a fresh salad adds a refreshing balance, especially on warmer days. Sweet plantains bring a delightful contrast to the savory elements of the meal. Ideal when fried until caramelized and golden, they add a hint of natural sweetness that many find comforting and satisfying.
