Today i decided to start my afternoon with a kale salad 😇 the preparation was daunting. But i was up for it with whatever i could find that was close enough to the real deal. I substituted onions for scallion. And miso broth for miso paste. For the full recipe please buy Dr. Gregers book how not to die cookbook.
Today i realized i really don’t like beets. The salad and dressing is great but the beets threw me off because it tastes like straight up dirt to me. But that’s just me ❤️ i finished the beets i placed in my bowl though!
The dressing 7/10 might even use as a spread for toast 🍞

The price is surprising right? The reason the price is so high would be because i added all the premade seasonings he included at the beginning of the book. Which I purchased some of. Most of the spices you need for the spice blend is already in your cabinet but let’s not forget we don’t all live in a city where all organic food and or uncommon spices are available. I myself had to substitute what I could find in person. At the end of his book he does state to do the best we can for our budget and what is available to us. I appt that sentiment because it helps me keep going 🌈💕
