Oh so Yummy Small Batch Cinnamon Roll Recipe 🤎

Dough (remember to check Notes)

•1 cup of warm milk (warmed for 1 min in microwave)

•1 packet active dry yeast or 2 and ¼ teaspoon of yeast

•1 teaspoon of sugar (for active dry yeast activation unless using instant rapid rise yeast then mix all dry ingredients together then wet)

•¼ cup of butter

-(Butter can be browned for more intense flavor )

-(Allow butter to cool in fridge for 20-25 mins before using)

•½ cup of sugar

•2 eggs room temp

•2 cups of AP flour

•2 cups bread flour

•2 tbsp oil

•1-2 tsp of vanilla bean paste

•1/2 tsp of salt

*To make a small batch of this dough just cut every single ingredient in half*

FILLING:

•4 tbsp butter softened or 5 tbsp of butter browned

•1/3 brown sugar (you can add more sugar if you want)

•1 tbsp of cinnamon

Brown Butter Frosting: must be room temp for easy mixing

•1 stick butter

(You can brown the butter for additional flavor

Allow brown butter to cool in fridge for 20 mins before using)

•1 block cream cheese

•2 cups powdered sugar

•1 tsp Vanilla (optional)

*For small batch use 6 oz of cream cheese, butter & 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla

BAKE: 350 for 28 mins

Small batch 350 for 26 mins

NOTES:

•allow dough to double in size should take an hour or so.

•add about a tbsp of heavy cream to bottom of dish for additional softness.

•this dough is sticky so after a 5 min knead I would suggest you lightly flour a clean surface & continue kneading for 5 more mins or until dough comes together.

• if you would prefer to work w/ an easier less sticky dough you can remove the oil & increase the butter to 1/3 cup. This dough is still soft & fluffy & beginner friendly.

• I highly recommend baking on parchment paper for an even distribution of heat.

•Remember glass dishes take a longer time to cook I recommend a metal pan.

•lastly at the halfway cooking point rotate the cinnamon rolls in the oven to ensure even cooking.
