My birth story 🫶

I got pregnant at 20 yr old a few months after my first miscarriage. I was having a really hard time trying get excited about being pregnant but after seeing my baby for the first time I couldn’t wait! I started having back labor at 37 weeks and it continued for until 28 weeks when I went to my 28 week appointment and I was almost 3 centimeters. I decided to labor at home until I felt good going to the hospital. I got checked in and had my IV set up. I was so tired I had barely slept the whole week prior because of my back labor. I was in labor for a little over 72 hours and I ended up going to the hospital August 24th 2022. I had the epidural and I remember the epidural making me have a fever and baby’s heart rate was high but I was able to lower it and reduce my fever. I was up all night with the peanut ball rolling on each side every few hours. An hour or so after I woke up in the morning I remember feeling a lot of pressure and feeling like I needed to push so I had my husband get the doctor and I pushed for about 30 minutes before I delivered my beautiful baby girl on August 25th 2022 at 10:31 am. She was 7 pounds 2 oz and 21 inches long🫶 now she’s almost 2 and I’m ready for another 😂
