Why people run from after I tell them what I’ve done in my 44 years of life and starting from I was 14 & homeless maybe it’s because I had nothing to wanting everything… I may not be proud to you but, I’m always going to be proud of what I have done and generations after me will know there’s nothing you can’t do.. 🫡🌹#THEROSE #mylife #improudofmyself #onthisday
Life has a way of testing our limits, and I truly understand what it feels like to start with nothing and face immense challenges early on. Being homeless at 14 was perhaps the hardest chapter of my life, but it was also the spark that ignited a deep desire within me to change my story. What helped me the most was setting small, achievable goals and celebrating each as a step forward. Over the years, my path took me through many roles—from a Marine, Police Academy graduate, and Purple Heart combat veteran to a tattoo artist and bodybuilder. Maintaining focus on my ambitions, I pushed through obstacles that seemed insurmountable at the time. One thing I learned is that discipline and a refusal to quit can transform even the most unlikely circumstances. Education played a huge role too. Graduating magna cum laude in Forensics within just one year was a proud milestone, but it wasn’t the end. I pursued certification in phlebotomy and studied to become a certified electrician, continuously building my skill set and expanding my capabilities. What truly motivates me is the legacy I am creating—not only for myself but for my family. Seeing my brothers and son graduate high school and succeed in their own paths is a daily reminder that perseverance pays off. I don’t share my story for praise, but to show others that no matter where you start, you can achieve greatness. If there’s one piece of advice I can offer to anyone going through tough times, it’s this: never let your beginnings define your future. Be the person who says, "I never quit," even when the world doubt you. Your hard work and resilience will inspire others, and generations to come will know that nothing is impossible.
