girl i KNOW you've been seeing it everywhere. "cortisol face." everyone's diagnosing themselves with it. you're looking at your puffy face in the mirror and thinking that's what you have. your face is swollen because you're stressed. because your cortisol is high. because of your hormones. and it makes sense, right? you ARE stressed. you DO feel puffy. so you start trying to "lower your cortisol." you're meditating. doing breathwork. taking ashwagandha. trying to stress less. and your face is still puffy. still swollen. still the same. so you think maybe your cortisol is just too high. maybe you're too stressed. maybe you need to quit your job or change your entire life before your face will change. but here's what i figured out - it's not cortisol. i thought i had "cortisol face" too. i tried everything to lower my stress. nothing changed my face. because what they're calling "cortisol face" isn't actually about cortisol. your face is puffy for a different reason. and when i figured out what that actual reason was and fixed it, my face changed. the puffiness went down. my face got defined. while i was still stressed. while my life was still chaotic. because it was never about stress or cortisol. i wrote down exactly what i discovered because the "cortisol face" thing is everywhere right now and it's sending people down the wrong path. if you've been trying to fix your cortisol and your face is still puffy, read what i figured out. it's not your stress. it's not your hormones. it's something completely different.
