... Read moreShoulder day can often be one of the most challenging parts of a workout routine. Like many, I’ve found that it tests both your physical strength and mental determination. After a tough session yesterday, I realized how important it is to stay motivated and focused, even when the exercises feel especially difficult. One key to making shoulder day more manageable is proper preparation. I always start with a good warm-up to get the muscles ready and reduce injury risk. This typically includes dynamic stretches and light sets with dumbbells or resistance bands. Setting realistic goals for each session helps me stay on track without pushing too hard too fast. During the workout, I focus on form over heavy weights. It’s tempting to lift heavier, but poor technique can lead to setbacks. Exercises like overhead presses, lateral raises, and front raises become more effective and safer when done correctly. Recovery is just as important as the workout itself. After challenging shoulder exercises, I make sure to rest adequately and incorporate stretching to maintain flexibility and reduce soreness. Sharing my journey in spaces like #shoulderday motivates me to keep moving forward, and I hope it inspires others too.
