I'm still buzzing from my Bald Mountain hike in the Adirondacks! This gem, located in upstate NY, near the popular Lake George area, is truly a must-do. Don't let the relatively short distance fool you – the Bald Mountain trail packs a punch! It's roughly two miles roundtrip, but it's a constant, steady climb. The initial part might feel gentle, but soon enough, you'll find yourself navigating those “challenging, rocky, and root-covered trails” that some of the pictures beautifully captured.
