My journey with pregnancy weight gain
This is a bit different than the stuff I typically post about, but I felt like sharing because maybe it’ll help some people who are struggling with their own experience with this. This is my own personal experience, so everyone will go through this in a different way.
I gained 70+ lbs while pregnant with my son, definitely on the higher side of pregnancy weight gain. And look, I’m only 5’2, so this was a HUGE adjustment for me. I went from a size xs to a size large within mere months. And now within the last three months or so I went from a size large to a medium/small.
I didn’t do any dieting (besides an unintentional calorie deficit due to sickness and then high stress on occasion lol) I got a gym membership and used it three times since January, I just let myself live and love and BOOM it happened.
Now, maybe this post will give you hope if you’re hoping your pregnancy weight will come off. Maybe it will be a reminder to love yourself at whatever stage you’re at just like I did. Maybe you’re one of the lucky ones that shed the weight instantly after giving birth and this just gives you a new perspective. Whatever you take from this, please let it a positive take.
Everyone deserves love, and the best kind of love is self-love. Just live your life the way you want to, what happens happens, you are beautiful no matter your size 🫶
